Hey, y'all! I can't seem to put down the spray paint lately. These three lamps were my latest victims. :)
Here they are in their "before" state...

First, I taped them off with frog tape. Then I took them out in the garage and spent a quick 10 minutes spray painting them.
And here they are now...
And here they are now...
I think the detail really shows up on them now.
I call this one below my "bubble lamp." :)
I think the white base looks so much better with the zebra lampshade.
Here's a collage I shared on Instagram. By the way, I pretty much post daily on Instagram, so if you'd like to follow along there too, you can find me at "texasdecor."
I recently had a 30% off coupon for Kohl's, so I stopped in there the other day just to see if anything caught my eye. They had a lot of summer things on sale for 60% off. I combined my 30% off coupon with the 60% off sale and this little candle holder ended up only being $2.41, so it made its way home with me.
I love the sand dollars and starfish on it. I put it on this little corner shelf in the living room.

Here's a closer look.
One quick change I made recently was to remove this old print that I've had above the fridge for years.
Here's how it looks now. I think it looks simplified and cleaner. Plus, you can really see the ivy now.
I guess that's all the changes for now. Knowing me, there will be plenty of changes in the future. Lol! I can't seem to leave anything alone for very long. :)
Now I have a question for y'all...what on earth can I put in my dough bowl on my kitchen table? Right now, I just have pine cones in it.
I asked my hubby what he thought I should put in it and he said "I don't know, maybe dough?" Funny guy.
I'm never really happy with what I put in it. I used to have some wicker-ish looking orbs in it, but got tired of them. Then I had fruit (real and faux) but got tired of that too. I was thinking maybe some of those moss covered spheres? Or maybe some faux hydrangeas? Let me know if you have any ideas. :)
