Subway Tile Backsplash Reveal

Hello! I've wanted to re-do our kitchen backsplash for a long time and that day has finally come!

I'm so pleased with how it turned out!

Edited to add: You can now click HERE to see our tutorial explaining exactly how we removed the old backsplash and installed the new one.

Here's a reminder of what our old backsplash looked like with the 4 inch almond and white ceramic tiles in a checkerboard pattern...

Those checkerboards were a little busy looking and distracting. :)

You can click HERE to see how we painted our cabinets white.

And here are more pics of the new white subway tile...

We went with your standard 3" x 6" white subway tile.

I like how the subway tile adds a bit of farmhouse charm to the kitchen.

I'm so glad I decided to use this pretty wood trim instead of bullnose tiles. I thought it added a bit more character and interest to the space.

I think the subway tile gives the whole kitchen a fresh, clean look.

I still can't believe how my hubby navigated around that bend in the corner below. I would have had it all messed up. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll have the full tutorial up this Friday, including how we went about removing the old backsplash, installing the new one, and lots of product pics so you can see exactly what we bought. I also updated my Home Tour button to include pics of the new subway tile.

Enjoy your day!

~Lisa
