Fall Home Tour

Hello and welcome to my Fall Home Tour!

I'll try to keep the talking to a minimum so you can just enjoy the pics. :)

I love these mini neutral pumpkins.

The dining room is one of my favorite rooms to decorate for fall.

I decided to go very neutral with my fall decor this year. I didn't want it to scream "fall" when you walked in the door. I still love the bright colors of fall, but wanted to switch things up this year. If you want to see my bright fall decor from last year, just click HEREHERE, and HERE

I'm constantly tweaking my mantel. I still haven't decided how I want it to look.

I don't know if you can tell in this pic, but this pumpkin is a light green color with little glittery sparkles all over it.

I even added a few pumpkins to my coffee table tray.

Isn't this tweed pumpkin darling? My sweet friend Lisa at Fern Creek Cottage gave me a heads up that our local grocery store had them in stock.

I brought out my favorite little witch window cling to temporarily decorate that plate. :) I just peel it off when I'm done and store it until next year.

AAA Membership Deal and Holly's New Tutu

Y'all know by now how I can't keep my mouth shut when I come across a good deal, right? Well, I thought I'd do a quick post about the AAA membership I just got.

And no, this post isn't sponsored in any way and I'm definitely not getting paid for saying any of this stuff. It's just a good deal I'm passing on to y'all. :)

Right now, AAA is offering a deal where you can get their "Classic" membership for just $52 a year, AND they're waiving the $20 admission fee, AND you can get another membership for a family member for FREE! All that for $52!

Click HERE to sign up. This link is for AAA Texas, so I'm not sure if this deal is available in other states. Just go to their main website to check.

Our oldest son is transferring to another college a little farther away next semester, so that's what got us thinking about a AAA membership, just for peace of mind. :)

You certainly can't put a price on peace of mind, can you? Anyway, I just wanted to let y'all know about this in case you had been thinking of getting it. AAA has all kinds of benefits. You can use them if you lock your keys in your car, get a flat, run out of gas, have a dead battery, etc.

Here's the neat thing too...you're covered by AAA in ANY car, whether you're the driver OR just the passenger in someone else's car!

Okay, I think I've extolled all the virtues of AAA now. Lol!

In other quick news, this happened today...

I came across this pink number at Dollar Tree and couldn't resist! She kept it on for about 3 seconds flat! Ha!

Little Miss Holly cat has a birthday coming up October 11th. She'll be two years old! I thought a little pre-birthday outfit was in order. ;)

I'll be back soon with my Fall Home Tour, I promise. :)

Quick Master Bedroom Update~Painting Picture Frames

Happy Monday! (and Happy National Coffee Day!) I'm back today sharing a quick update I did to the master bedroom.

When we did the big Master Bedroom Reveal...(you can see the whole post HERE), I showed you how I spray painted the mats in these picture frames from a hunter green to white. I was happy with the white mats, but still wanted to lighten up the frames a bit. As you can see in these "before" shots, the frames were a dark brown.

They matched the wood on our headboard, night stand, and armoire, but I was itching to use some grey paint on them.

We also had this dark brown frame on the armoire that I thought needed some lightening up. I thought it would match the white frame on the right a little better if it was painted a light grey.

And here are the "afters."

I think the grey goes a little better with the overall color scheme. And I'm happy with how it flows nicely with our new Grey Master Bathroom.

I'm really happy with how the one on the armoire turned out...

Below is a closer look at the frames on top of the armoire (and if you look closely, you can see the whole reason these pictures are up here...to cover up that eye sore of a speaker.)

Well, that's all for now. I plan on sharing my Fall Home Tour later this week. I'm waiting until I clean the house on Wednesday to photograph it though, so you don't have to see all my dust bunnies. :)

I have to say, I went in a totally different direction with my fall decor this year. If you want to see last year's fall decor, you can click HERE HERE, and HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful week!
