Breakfast Room Thanksgiving Tablescape and a Free Christmas Printable

Today I'm back with my breakfast room Thanksgiving tablescape. We usually have 8 people for Thanksgiving, so we put 4 in the dining room and 4 in the breakfast room. I switched it up a bit this year with a different centerpiece and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. :)

That copper colored runner is from Dollar Tree and the burlap runner is another Target Dollar Spot find. :)

For the centerpiece, I placed this white pumpkin in the center of the cake plate and wrapped some fall garland around it. Then I added in some pumpkins, glittery acorns, and pinecones.

I'm thinking I need to invest in another set of napkins for Thanksgiving. Maybe some with fall leaves or something. I'm getting tired of the green ones. As I look at these pics, I'm thinking I also need to invest in some new ribbon as well. :)

As soon as I took these pics, this tablescape was whisked away until Thanksgiving day since we use this table daily. I sure had fun playing around with it though. I'm really starting to enjoy doing different tablescapes. :)

Before I go, I wanted to share a free Christmas printable from Lucy at Craftberry Bush...

I love how it matches the plates I recently bought!

Well, that's all for now. I'll be sure to share the Christmas gift idea for pets soon. I think you'll like it. :)

Dining Room Thanksgiving Tablescape

I know I said I'd be back with a Christmas gift idea for pets, but since Thanksgiving is knocking on our door, I thought I better post my tablescapes before it gets here. :)

Today I'll share my dining room tablescape and later I'll share my breakfast table one.

I wrapped a fall garland around the pumpkin for a quick centerpiece. Then I added a few smaller pumpkins and candles.

I love layering chargers and plates.

For the napkin rings, I tied a piece of fall ribbon around a wooden napkin ring. I love to switch out the ribbon for different holidays. BTW, I got the plain wooden napkin rings at Hobby Lobby (an 8 pack was $3.99 ~ even cheaper with a coupon) and I painted them with gold craft paint.

And that's it! I'll be back soon to share the breakfast table in all its Thanksgiving glory. :)

More Christmas Bargains

Okay y'all, I can't believe all the good bargains out there.

Just look at these cute plates from Tuesday Morning...

This one is my favorite...

They're 6 inch glass plates and they're only $2.99!

Oh, and I finally scored these skis from the dollar spot at Target...

These skis are all over Instagram right now. I can't wait to see how others are going to decorate with them. They're made of wood and are 17 inches long.

Love this Happy Christmas sign too! (also from the Dollar Spot)

More dollar spot finds...

This wire basket with rope handles will have so many uses...

I don't know why, but these felt letters spoke to me. :)

These were really neat. They're burlap snowflakes and they're adhesive! You just peel off the paper backing and stick them on whatever you want. You could even stick them on the front of a solid colored pillow for a little Christmas touch. They came 10 to a pack.

Oh, and this four pack of plates...Love the plaid!

I'm still on the hunt for the Dollar Spot pillows. I'll be sure to update you when I find them. :)

I'll be back later in the week with a cute, inexpensive gift idea for the pets in your family.

Hope y'all have a great day!

Target Dollar Spot Does It Again

So, after seeing tons of Dollar Spot goodies on Instagram all week long, I couldn't get to Target fast enough. :)

Just look at the sweet deals, all in the dollar spot!

I think this little cake plate is my favorite!

I might hang this on the wall and keep my Christmas cards in it.

I thought these plaid bags were so cute and I couldn't pass up those metal tags.

These were marketed as gift tags, but they could be used for so many things.

It's hard to see, but these have a burlap look to them.

These burlap baskets sold out so quickly. I went back a couple of days later and they were all gone.

Have you found any dollar spot goodies lately? Everything here was either $1 or $3. Not bad for all this cuteness!

A Collection of Thanksgiving Vignettes

I have a nice little treat for you all today. I'm showcasing some very talented blog friends as we each share a Thanksgiving vignette.

For the most part, we used what we had on hand to create simple, inexpensive vignettes that can easily be recreated. Hope you find lots of inspiration here.

For my vignette, I just grabbed a few pretties from around the house, plopped them on a wooden tray in the middle of the dining room table and that was it! So easy!

You might be able to tell from these pics that I have a slight pumpkin addiction. ;)

Right now, that velvet cream colored one is my favorite, but don't tell the others.

I think I paid less than $2 for this "Count Your Blessings" plaque a few years ago.

And that's it! I bet if you look around your house, you'll find many things that could be used to create something similar. I love having trays on hand to display favorite seasonal items.

Be sure to go visit these other talented bloggers for more inspiration:

Enjoy!

This and That

Hello there! Hope everyone is having a great week!

I got a lot of questions/emails about this mug when I posted it here and on IG, so I thought I'd post another pic with more info...

It's from Target and was only $3.99. They have them in white and navy. I've heard a lot of Target stores are putting these on clearance now, so if you want one, I suggest you act quickly. :)

Here's a close up...

Speaking of good deals, I picked up these gift bags at Dollar Tree the other day...

They are large in size, 13x18", are printed on both sides, and could be used for a variety of things.

I made this cute decoration last year out of a gift bag from Target's dollar spot...

I just cut off the front and framed it for a quick and easy "chalkboard" print.

And no, I'm not decorating for Christmas quite yet. This pic is from last year. :)

Oh y'all...this pic below is my happy place. A collection of good books, a little pilfered Halloween candy, a cable knit pillow and a soft, cozy pom pom throw. That's the perfect Fall afternoon in my book. :)

One more thing...I have to share this pretty pic with y'all. We had some truly wicked weather over Halloween weekend, then the next day, this double rainbow appeared right in my backyard...

Love when that happens!

Y'all have a great week!
